Overlooking the spectacular sea-front of Northern Lebanon, this project encompasses the creation of an oasis along the coast The challenge was to make use of the culturally significant yet abandoned salt-pans. We decided to transform these existing platforms into a set of linked spaces, each with a specific function. Reviving the traditional essence of these structures, some were designed for seating, some for pools and others were even stocked with a display of the salt, itself. With sweeping views of the Mediterranean, a capacity of over five-hundred seats, multiple banquet tables and a plethora of ornamental gardens, the magical oasis is the perfect venue for the best of celebrations. Highly ornamental gardens, olive groves, bungalows, terraces and swimming pools imbue the resort with a diverse and abundant set of programs for the enjoyment of its users.
