We were commissioned to revamp this rooftop located on top of a colorful building from the 70’s. Managed by a dynamic team, it was transformed into a student dormitory in the much sought-after area of Hamra and their objective was to channel the building’s vibrant energy towards its rooftop. Its sweeping vistas of the surrounding area of Ras Beirut seamlessly merging into the sea conveyed extraordinary potential. Challenges related to the building’s old structure were addressed in order to add a swimming pool associated to a variety of activities tied together by a unique urban atmosphere.
