Landscape architect - Urban Planner
Jane is a landscape architect, urban designer and the co-founder of Scapeworks.
She is a firm advocate of designs that subtly integrate both creativity and ecological sensitivity in order to craft harmonious landscapes. Her expertise lies in managing the design of complex, large scale projects, from setting broad-stroke concepts to resolving the finest of details. With over ten years of experience in the field, she has contributed to and delivered a wide range of projects within the public realm including parks, waterfront schemes, master planned developments as well as different private domain estates. Jane also has hands-on experience acquired through her work with socially sensitive sites in Lebanon and high-end projects in the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout her career, she has worked with an array of clients in both public and private sectors, allowing her to effectively overcome new challenges. Her practical understanding also encompasses habitat rehabilitation, large-scale public playgrounds, streetscape developments, commercial urban complexes as well as residential gardens. Succinctly, Jane is the mastermind behind Scapeworks’ core philosophy. She is constantly optimizing the combination of her passion for design, ability to feasibly implement her ideas and her thorough understanding of ecology. As a result, the projects she is involved in steadily display an enhanced sense of sustainability whether in built or natural environments.
