Kfarabida is a village traditionally famous for its waterfront and amazing rocky beaches. However, its limits extend inland towards steep mountains – an opportunity seized by our client to imagine a high-end residential development overlooking breathtaking sceneries of Mediterranean scrubland merging into the turquoise sea. We conceived a complete streetscape strategy connecting more than 70 independent lots, solving all challenges associated with the local legal framework and the steep topography. The proposed scheme smoothens circulation within the site following heavy landform works and defines rules for a systematic approach in order to help harmonize the semantic language of the whole development. Four public parks were also developed in the process, as part of a green network aiming at keeping the Mediterranean essence of the area.
