The Rabbit Field at the American Community School represents a vital and dynamic space, uniquely designed to engage various age groups. Embracing the school’s spirit of inclusivity and interaction, our design incorporates a wavy spatial arrangement, which not only provides creative seating options but also actively promotes socialization and a sense of community among students.
Beyond serving as an extension of the cafeteria or a backdrop to the stage, The Rabbit Field is reimagined as a modular, interactive playscape that appeals to a broad spectrum of students. The design reflects the vibrant energy of the space combining a fresh, dynamic aesthetic with an enhanced green environment to create a lively yet harmonious setting.
Central to our design is the concept of modular seating. This feature is thoughtfully crafted to support both individual contemplation and communal engagement, contributing to the space’s aesthetic appeal and playful character. In addition, we’ve incorporated sculptures of ACS knights, which serve as a powerful reminder of the students’ ongoing responsibility as guardians of nature. These elements together ensure that The Rabbit Field is more than just a physical area—it’s a symbol of the school’s dedication to nurturing community, creativity, and environmental stewardship.
