This ambitious project stems from the vision of a nature enthusiast who is planning his retirement in the deep rural areas of Zaarour. We were commissioned to connect an existing garden and traditional house to the lands downhill. A series of terraces unveil an existing artificial lake used for irrigation as well as different aquatic activities. The area will host a series of guesthouses and a general outdoor sitting area with a big cooking station where the culinary meets the traditional. The different walls were a great opportunity to create a water cascade that starts from a water source and gathers at different ponds for trout, swimming and water lilies. This landscaped area is accompanied by the picturesque Sannine Mountain in the background.
