For this residential terrace in Monteverde, Lebanon, we created a getaway for both the mind and soul. Away from all the tussle of daily activities, the space invites the users to retreat for a daytime siesta or a tranquil evening in the outdoors. The tensile-shaded spaces are bordered with a variety of lush vegetation and floral compositions which help cool and invigorate the space. The owners also have access to a dining area and a raised deck for entertaining guests. The design effectively extends the indoor living space to the outdoors as the existing visual and physical accesses are both employed and enhanced.
